What's up with Louisiana pharmacies? I went to 4 places to fill my lortab script and they said they were out.

I get a script of lortab (a controlled narcotic) for my ongoing battle with cancer. I have never had a problem before, but lately, the pharmacies have claimed to be out of stock. The script is for 180 which is a high amount (a months supply), but I don't see how all pharmacies in my town can be out. Also, my friend got a letter in the mail saying that her doctor will no longer be prescribing Soma and Xanax because of common abuse of these drugs. What's going on? I feel like we are losing all our rights here. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks!!!
