Need help with suspected child abuse.?
These kinds of incidents are a real problem with CPS everywhere. You should be sure that you have kept notes on your calls to them and to the sheriff's department. You could perhaps contact the school social worker or counselor at the school the children attend, tell him or her what you have observed and about what hasn't been done by the authorities, and ask him or her to watch the situation. Before doing this, however, you might want to discuss this with an attorney to be sure that you can't be sued for defamation. You could also, I suppose, call your alderman, the mayor, or the county executive to complain about the poor performance of CPS and the sheriff's department.
