To my Indian and Pakistani friends. Do you agree with the honour killings(kori kari)?

Why the agression against your women? They too have aright to choose their partners. I once went out to the mall with an Indian girl to have a drink and most Indians there were giving us a stern look. She told me if she was in her country things could be worse, i.e they could burn her alive or throw acid on her, Why do this? Do you support it?
