Why do the majority of Atheists on Answers retaliate with insults when asked about their beliefs?

I didn't answer your question, but looking back, it does read like a challenge. "How do Atheists CLAIM to have any morals? If there is no God, then where would any sense of right or wrong come from? It seems that an Atheist CLAIMING that anything is either right or wrong CONTRADICTS himself and PROVES that there is some sort of higher standard." It's a fair enough question--one that's asked often here--but the way you phrased it probably made it seem like just another challenge from a hypercritical atheist-hater.
