Swanson Chimney Range Hood....?

The home we purchased recently has the above range hood. The light turns on but the fan or motor doesn't seem to be working. I would like to fix it and not replace the hood because it's a nice big stainless steel one. My problem is that it's an old model and I cannot find any information online. The sticker on the side with the model no and other information is worn out. All I can go by is the name on the front of the hood which says "Swanson Solid State". Can anyone help me with this? Who do I call to fix this, a HVAC?
