An A-level maths question, part of the C1 syllabus for edexcel. Any expert help?
Presumably you worked out dy/dx which enabled you to get the gradient at P. You now have to set dy/dx =9/2 and solve the quadratic. You should get 2 solutions for x , one of which will give you P and the other Q if you have calculated it correcly.
